It’s been a week since #GivingTuesdayNow…

Giving Tuesday Now is an international initiative where charities come together to celebrate and show appreciation for the sector’s outstanding response to the COVID crisis this year.

Charities have been at the forefront of this collective action, and Ambient aspire to continue to be. The response that we had from staff and service users on Giving Tuesday last week was so inspiring, and we didn’t doubt for a moment that it would be anything less!

The people we support created fabulous window displays and wall collages to show their appreciation for the life-changing work our staff do everyday. The Ambient team is relentlessly caring, enthusiastic and innovative, and the service users’ pieces of art really reflected this.

They were colourful, creative and expressive. In some cases, there were even fairy lights used! A lot of the people we support used the #GivingTuesday Heart print out sheet to fuel their imaginations, and went from there.

We all agree that such impressive decorations and displays of gratitude should be left up on the walls for much longer than just the day! So even a week later, we are still here looking at the photographs and smiling ear to ear. We can’t thank our team enough.
