New annual Award Scheme for Ambient frontline staff: The John Goree Award 2021

Sponsored by retired Ambient Regional Manger, John Goree, ‘The John Goree Award’ is a new annual award celebrating the amazing care and support provided by our incredible operational staff.

On his retirement, John made a financial commitment to Ambient and asked us to set up an award scheme which he would sponsor, to recognise the exceptional work of our frontline operational staff teams.

The award is open to all operational staff across our Learning Disability, Mental Health & Older People services. Anyone working on our frontline services from care and support worker level through to scheme or project manager can be nominated.

Nominations can be made by any employee colleague to colleague, the families, and carers of those people we support.

  • Nominations open from 1st—21st November 2021
  • There will be a cash award of £500 made to the winner
  • People can nominate multiple candidates for an award however the award is an individual one and teams should not be nominated
