Two Ambient Team members announced as Finalists at the Bromley Adult Care Awards 2024

Ambient are delighted to announce that our Locality Manager of Mental Health Services, Sarah Hearne, and Multi-Site Project Manager, Joe Barrett, are finalists at the Bromley Adult Care Awards 2024.

Bromley Council says that an “overwhelming number of applications were received”, exemplifying an outstanding level of  support that has made a real difference to the lives of residents across adult social care settings in Bromley. The awards aim to shine a light and formally thank individuals for the extra miles they go to make sure residents are safe, well looked after and able to live their best lives, no matter their circumstances.

Sarah is a finalist in ‘The Diane Smith Award’ category, and Joe is a finalist in the ‘Managers Award’ category. This special recognition honours their exceptional dedication to delivering person-centered care and positive impact on adult social care.

Divisional Director Samantha Downer, who nominated Sarah, says:

“Sarah’s unwavering commitment and compassionate approach have truly transformed the lives of those in our community. She embodies the spirit of outstanding care and continually goes above and beyond in her role.”

Sarah Hearne, who nominated Joe Barrett herself, says:

“Joe’s hard work and ongoing commitment to his services is remarkable. He is an extremely kind and compassionate Manager who delivers to his service users and his staff teams.”

The awards ceremony will take place in Bromley on October 2, 2024, hosted by Bromley Council.

Ambient would like to express how proud we are of both Sarah and Joe’s achievement, and are wishing them the very best of luck for the awards ceremony!
